Over the past twelve years Endeavour has worked with various brands in the Informa group, predominantly in media & telecoms (Informa Telecoms & Media, Ovum and Omdia) and shipping (Lloyd’s List and its sub brands). We’ve worked with management on a range of projects including new product offerings and marketing campaigns, and we’ve teamed up directly with in-house analysts on key reports.
Introduce Omdia to the market and position them as category leaders at Mobile World Congress.
In February 2020, Informa Tech merged all their technology, media and telecomms research businesses into one new super company: Omdia. They’re a powerhouse in research, with more than 400 analysts and consultants covering 140 technology markets and collecting over 350 million data points that are fed into 3,000 research reports every year.
For the launch of the new brand, Endeavour created Omdia’s headline report for Mobile World Congress. It featured core research and expert opinion from a range of analysts and it was one of their first pieces of collateral following the rebrand, so it was key that the way we implemented the brand guidelines was consistent and visually exciting for the audience. It was a powerful way to present this new brand at the world’s largest exhibition for the industry.
This was then also rolled out across a range of additional marketing materials such as roller banners, social media graphics and invites.

Standardise, professionalise and productise Ovum’s whitepaper and ebook outputs for their consulting clients.
Endeavour often works directly with analysts on whitepapers and ebooks. Usually these are Ovum-led branded and we’ve created master templates and guidelines dictating how they should be created (A4, US Letter and landscape ebooks, both on and offline) to ensure they’re all clearly identifiable as Ovum publications. Based on the master Ovum brand guidelines, our templates have evolved over time to create a clean, modern aesthetic and an approach to presenting complex data that maximises audience engagement.
Some publications we’ve worked on have been client-led branded (e.g. Microsoft, Intel, Redhat) and we’ve created them in line with their own brand guidelines.
As a supplement to the white papers, we’ve have also created public facing content for Ovum, including infographics, teasers and other visuals to showcase the most interesting elements from the white papers in a completely different way.
These projects often require a quick turnaround, which is where our excellent, long working relationship with Informa and understanding of complex data really come to the fore.

Redesign the daily Lloyd’s List newspaper in Berliner format.
Lloyd’s List is one of the world’s longest running publications, delivering shipping news since 1734 in print and, now, online. Today it covers data and analysis for all sectors related to shipping, such as insurance, energy, logistics and law.
When it was decided to move the daily newspaper to a new Berliner format, Endeavour was asked to help with the redesign of the entire paper and its identity, which included designing a new masthead and identity system for all sub-brands. We updated the styling across the newspaper including a new typographic treatment, colour palette and grid structure that we carried across into a far clearer and more legible information hierarchy, making the newspaper easier to read and more visually interesting. We then helped set up templates and training for the internal team at Informa to allow them to roll out the daily issues.
